A glitch affecting a few memberships. UPDATE 2/9/25

  • Post author:

The glitch on the site continues. If your account is cancelled by the system, you still have access to all your membership benefits for the full month of membership. Once it expires at the end of your month, you can renew at that time. As for the other issue, if you receive an incorrect expiration notice, your account should still be active.

It looks like we have to do a major updating of the site to fix these issues. In addition, we’ll soon be rolling out adult verification for those who live in jurisdictions that require it. So, please hang tight while we iron out the site. We hope at the end of this to have a much more reliable, faster site with fewer glitches.

OLD POST: Yesterday, the system sent out expiration notices to about fifty memberships that did not expire. If you received and unexpected expiration notice from my site, please log into the site and see if you’re still active.

Also, a similar number of separate memberships were cancelled by the system. That means that their auto-renew was turned off. But those accounts will still have access to the site until their membership expires at the normal renewal time. If this happened to you, all you’ll need to do is renew when your membership expires.

Both issues seem to be caused by a software auto-update to the site. My web developer is looking into both issues and will hopefully have them resolved soon.
