Maybe controversial question: have you considered trying AI art?
I’m here for the writing. The art is a nice bonus that, imo, doesn’t need to be high quality.
As a creator, I would never support AI. The whole system is based on stealing the work of creatives and churning out iterations based on what’s stolen. In fact, Meta stole a bunch of my novels to train its AI. There is a searchable database that I looked into. So, no, I don’t mind AI used by artists to color their work if they like. But I wouldn’t ever use it.
Love the story and the illustrations by JDSeal. NOT the new style illustrations. Sorry. Way too “cartoonish”. That style of drawings should work very well with funny or humorous or similar (Donald Duck, Billy etc), but that style of comics are not sexy in the slightest!
Understand JDSeal won’t continue, but can’t you try to find another artist with a style more LIKE JDSeals?
I disagree with my fellow commentators. I love the new art. I do like the “cartoony” pics…i prefer this to the original. I love the way these characters are depicted.

I like the art and the artist, but I’m not sure it’s a good fit for this story, at least based on the chapters I’ve read in the text only chapters, and from there, the vibe that I get from the story overall.
Too cartoon-y, perhaps? At least, the more cartoonish style doesn’t feel like it fits with Karen’s personality.
Maybe this sounds like a weird take, but the lines on the faces of the older characters (Daniel, Karen, etc.), regardless of gender, make them look older than they are, specifically with this art style.
Or perhaps I’m too used to being brain-rotted by low effort hentai? Hmm.
Regardless, I’m happy the chapters are getting more illustrations, even if with a different artist. “Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good.” Regarding desired outcomes, and all that.

No, JDseal won’t continue with this one. He still works with me, but he doesn’t want to work on a recurring chapter story. These days he usually illustrates about one a chapter a year with me.
