Nice slow build up. First person son view but I’d love to know what she’s thinking. Not asking for it but the alternating views in Noises was fun.
It would be quite something to switch perspective in this one. It’s possible, but I’m not sure.
The tension that makes this story work is that we don’t know what the female character is thinking. Every move the male character makes could end disastrously. His actions ovule wreck his relationship dynamic with female character forever, wreck the family dynamic forever. But still, like a moth to a flame, he, they, spiral towards their desires. The exact, often familial, relationships of the characters in rawly’s work less important to me than the overall theme of two or more consenting adults rejecting societal schackles and finding the bliss that works for them. Others have different reasons. No kink shaming here.
