I listen to a *lot* of audiobooks (both mainstream and adult), so I’d definitely be willing to check one out. As others have mentioned in this thread, selecting the right voice actors is vital.
If you’re interested in a suggestion, I’m a big fan of Sierra Kline. She has some samples on her website – https://www.sierrathesiren.com/
while I’m not against audio books, when it comes to the case of erotica I’d personally would rather not run the chance of someone listening in wondering what I’m up to… but I do think its a good idea if people show interest
While unabridged is nice.. for this I would think you’d want to adapt it more to a script format. I think unabridged for that would be not cutting out any scenes, etc. A lot depends on the voice actors and probably also sound effects.
It depends for me. I like erotic audios, for which see GoneWildAudio on reddit, but I’m not hugely interested in listening to someone read erotic literature. That’s a specific discrepancy, but if the vote says yes, I’d give it a shot.
If the audiobooks are unabridged then that’ll be great! I’m hearing impaired and unable to hear over the phone properly but do fine with FaceTime and Zoom but can hear unabridged audiobooks just fine with my cochlear implant
Doesn’t unabridged mean that it isn’t cut and the whole book is narrated? I’m not sure how that would help with your hearing it. But the plan would be to narrate the novels in their entirety.
Yes, unabridged is narrated the novels in their entirely. It’s one voice actor that does the narration like David Attenborough. It’d be cool to have several voice actors though!

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll check out Sierra.
My only worry is that I can be very picky when it comes to audio. If the person’s voice does not fit the character, for me, it can be a quick turnoff.
With that being said, however, I would definitely give it a try. Your stories and writing are simply awesome… keep up the good work.
I’m going to try and find excellent actresses for you 🙂 Thank you for the kind words!

You could probably find some great talent for this at the GoneWildAudio subreddit – which is amazing, btw 😉
Good tip, thanks ?
would love to hear Enki’s puzzle as an audio book. you write truly amazing stories thanks for all the hard work!
We would get there, for sure. Probably start with the completed novels first.

One other thing, unabridged audio books is reverse closed captioning!
Any idea which stories might be considered for the first audiobook. Assuming there’s enough interest in it (fingers crossed)
My plan would be to start with Serum and go from there.
only if it is your voice 🙂
Haha, fat chance of that ?
