I gotta say, the one with the most votes now-sorceress, son inherits power and father is murdered-is literally just the plotline of Dune. Like, its a good book, but id rather read an original story rather than a porn parody of some original work. If this story is what you end up going with Rawls, can you distant this tale from Dune as much as possible?
I think there would be similarities to Dune. But, of course, I would put my own spin on things. As you can see from all my other work, copying someone else is not something I find interesting. We’ll use that framework and build a different world.
I have said it before, I love possibilities. Short stories by their nature have limited possibilities; otherwise they turn into long storylines. “The Missus Ring” is one of my favorite stories. Even this late in the story there are still many possibilities. In general, short story storylines use binary decisions for their characters. “This or that” set of directions for the storyline. My mind goes to more of a “this or this or this……etc” storyline set of directions.
I’ve used a lot of words to say; I’m not the best judge for short story storylines. So I will abstain from voting
You know a lot of the fantasy stories have elves in them.
Sorry, nothing stands out to me as something I’d like to read. Perhaps with more description of what direction you’d like to take these stories if chosen?
I don’t know what spin I’ll put on any of them yet. But rest assured, any story will get the Rawly treatment. I’ll look to keep it surprising and fun.
I know mine didn’t get a lot of likes but thanks for including it 🙂 I personally think a LOTR style with all those different races and characters would allow sex and hot stuff to abound in many different styles and ways. Would probably give Lexx a lot of work with all those different types though 😂
Dwarves would be interesting, but I would like to point out that both male AND female dwarves are supposed to have facial hair.

Am I bugging or is the first option the 3rd story on this site that would revolve around the MC being more “wolf-like.” Do people really like werewolves?

Technically Palmer Legacy too since it directly calls back to Coyote. Don’t know if that counts though.
But isn’t one of the ideas a near copy of Coyote’s Trick? I mean, what’s different besides swapping coyotes for werewolves? Its going to be very similar.
