I’m happy to announce that AkyraRayne will start the illustrated version of The Palmer Legacy as soon as he finishes the final chapter of Five Twisted Wishes. Below you’ll find character sketches for the first chapter. Some have color, but they are all quick sketches. The actual illustrations will look more finished.

This looks great. Like wow really big improvement. The faces looks way better and that shot of Noah with his mouth moving looks great to and he looks like that one guys from Anastasia movie lol. Well done Akrya, I’m gonna have to get use to that new name. I will say despite these wonderful illustrations I unfortunately have no interest in rereading this story any time soon and that this has 40 chapters this is gonna take a very long time and I just like eh again. I’m sorry but this story has left a really bad taste in my mouth. I’ll pop in every few chapters but man I don’t want to go through this story again and like something in the water I’m most likely gonna skip around due to my lack of interest on things but the art hopefully will pull me in but will see. But regardless the art looks amazing and I wouldn’t mind if Akrya had tried Palmer mansion again due to how good this looks but you probably have other plans for that hopefully because I do want that finish. Anyways, good stuff here and see ya guys later.

I’m in a similar boat with the bad taste in my mouth, but ironically, I think illustrations might alleviate that a lot for me personally. Part of the issue for me was trying to juggle all of the characters, trying to remember who looked like what and were part of which storyline. Illustration’s would do a lot to help me with that.
That’s a good point. That there were too many characters was the most common complaint about this novel. I have heard that it reads better on a readthrough without having to wait a week for the next chapter.
Lobria, I’m not surprised you feel this way give your comments on the original text version. Fortunately, there are many other ongoing stories to follow 🙂
That is true and I am very much enjoying the story you have plus the illustrated versions you have out right now. I have to say I tried rereading it and I just couldn’t get back into it. The pacing is just way to slow plus all the characters. But like prag said this could hopefully help that but I’m no hurry to read this. Sorry to keep harping on that story. Also can we see more sketches of this. I would like to see how Akyra will do there own things with illustrations like how you mention enkie puzzle and palmer mansion. Just so we can have a taste and see how it looks before it goes out. Thanks again gusy. You work hard for us rawls. I might not like every story but I can’t deny that you work hard on your stories.
Akyra is working on the last chapter of Twisted Wishes right now. When that’s done, he’ll start the sketches of the first chapter of Palmer Legacy. I’ll share them as soon as I get them.
These look great! Looking forward to seeing them in action. It will be interesting when Eloise from Palmer Mansion and Mary from Mothership, among others, are illustrated, since it will be his take on them compared to the other illustrators who first visualized them.
Thanks for the feedback! Yes, we’ve been thinking about that. The plan is to use other illustrated stories as a reference, but then he’ll put his own spin on it.
