Update on today’s site issues.

  • Post author:

The site moved hosts today. It is much faster, but there are some serious bugs we’re trying to fix.

1) It seems that people can’t join right now. Hopefully, that will be fixed soon.

2) My email, rawls@rawlyrawls.com isn’t receiving incoming emails. This is especially problematic in light of problem 1. Hopefully that will be fixed tomorrow.

3) Some images were lost in the move. I have reuploaded most of those.

If you see any more bugs, please let me know on Discord or in the comments here. In the long run, this will give us a blazing fast site capable of growing with my readership. In the near-term, it may cause some headaches. Sorry for any inconvenience.

First it loads much faster for me.

Second I have notice two things for illustrated –

Chapter 6 for The Sex Talk
    Chapter 22 for Enki’s Puzzle
    Chapter 13 for Dragon’s Blood

give me an error saying the server ca n not be found.

Thank you for this! I’ll fix those issues.

Only one illustrated story in the past two weeks? This isn’t a bug, more like a complaint I guess. Preview story sketches day after day after day and no illustrated story. I only bitch bc I love your stories (with pics!) so much. Hopefully some coming soon.

I don’t have control over when illustrators finish a chapter. Sometimes there are gaps when they’re all working on chapters, and then the releases bunch together. There’s nothing I can do to fix this. It’s the nature of how I work. The good news is that unless something happens to my health, I will consistently release text-only chapters every week.

I kinda like being surprised to see a new story so I never read your posts about upcoming projects. I do often wonder to myself why there will be many days with nothing and then in a one or two day span a half dozen or so stories will be published. Seems to me it’d make more sense to spread things out so there’d be something new every other day or so as opposed to having large gaps and then a bunch of new posts on one day. I know I’d much prefer that kind of schedule. Anyways, it’s your site. Maybe food for thought.

I have considered this. There are a couple reasons I haven’t spread things out more. When illustrators finish a chapter, they’re excited to have it published. I don’t want to make them wait more than a day or two (I often do delay a little if there are more than two in a day). Also, on the whole, I think people would rather that I publish things soon rather than later, even if it means that stories come in bunches.
