Your favorite illustrator: April 2022 poll

  • Post author:

Every month, I’ll run a poll to gauge reader interest in various illustrators. This will help me allocate my resources as I make decisions about what projects to pursue. Your feedback is helpful and important!

I’m only including artists that have already completed a project with me and are possibly available for future projects.

Feel free to add comments below if you have opinions you’d like to share. The poll will stay open all month.

Vote for your FIVE favorite artists.

Where is JDSeal? Is it because he’s been taking breaks?

JDseal wanted to work in the comic format (not graphic novels like we’d been doing), and he wanted to work on his own stories.

I see, well I hope you do consider doing comic format sometime. Sometimes I can’t get enough of the pictures. Love you and your work, thank you for replying.

I don’t expect to work on comics. That would be moving away from what sets me apart from other creators. But you never know.

It doesn’t matter that much if others are doing it, I think illustrations are always appreciated, but what has to be considered it’s if that kind of adaptation makes sense. Your illustrated books are a good experience as they are, a well-finished work, so even if a very well done comic would be even better, it’s okay to leave it as it is. Especially if that means delaying new stories or illustrated books.
