We’ll be wrapping up Mothership in maybe three or four more chapters. That means I’ll start a new main novel after that. I’d like to start planning it in advance, so it’s now time to settle on a story.
I have two ideas in mind that I would like to write. One is a family that inherits a haunted painting of the Palmer family. The mom hangs the painting in her home office, and things slowly devolve from there. The other story I had in mind is about a son that tries to follow The Guide, but fails. It is VERY awkward with his mom after that. But slowly, she starts to think things over. She can’t stand to see how crushed he is, and she initiates things.

1) A collection of short stories centered around an historian investigating the Stone. It tells of the Stone’s various owners through history while the historian’s family is corrupted

4) Divorced and depressed father finds the Stone and uses it to turn his life around, especially regarding the relationship with his family
Mom purchases a new robot to help out around the home. Teenage son finds out the robot has a few extra, off-the-market settings that might help mom be more…open to some of his personal needs. And then when sis comes home from college, of course the robot is available to…help with her “needs” as well. And pretty soon the son is using this wonderful new machine to “help” all kinds of tense, uptight neighborhood women.
I’m totally on board for the Palmer Mansion, Next Generation story.
Alternatively, how about a prequel to Journey of the Mothership Wilderness with the backstory of whoever programmed the AI on the Errand to behave as it did?
I rewrote my suggestions so they could fit the thirty words rule:
1) MC is the patient zero of a global pandemic, that causes phisical and mental changes in the infected. Like “Something in the water” the story could show us how the epidemic impacts other characters and their families
2) MC has the power to inadvertently travel back in time, meeting his females relatives in the past (including those who died long before his birth). He ends up sleeping with them at various points of their lives, causing changes in the present
3) Shy MC develops a far more ruthless and secure split personality, dedicated to seduce the women in his life
4) A post apocalyptic story? I think it is the only genre you have never used. You could have the MC findd the Dark Stone and use its power to create a new society
5) A story set after all the main seductions took place, following an amnesiac MC. The women he seduced have now to deal with him not remembering them or their relationship while the MC has to investigate about the mysterious circumstances behind his memory loss
6)MC finds artifact that teleports him to a reality where incest is legal and his female relatives are far different. Moving between the two worlds he discovers he can alter one of the realities if he uses the artifact in the other

I mean I would love to see the Palmer story if only to get a glimspse of the new generation of the residents of Palmer Manision, but than again I would also like to a continuation of the Curse of the Shadow.
At the moment my best original idea involves an Elf/Drow Prince of an Elven Kingdom that is coming under threat by a gowing Ork hoard is set to Marry the only princess and hier of a neighboring human Kingdom to earn thier favor for thier armies assitance agasint the orks, counting on the fact that the Humans do not posses any means of casting Magic save thier Court magciian and thus Elf prince would make such an enticing suitor. However the Prince’s abilty to cast magic is rather average by elf standards especially compared to his mother whose lineage involves some of the greasest scholars of magic thier Kingdom has ever known, furthermore his father is more favorable to his eldest child the beloved warrior princess of the kindgdom. The Prince winds up finding a mysterious magic stones that unlocks great magical powers, but only in exchange for collecting energy fueld by lustful acts, the more taboo the acts the greator the power outout and longevity of the magic power he can wield.
Multiple families are kidnapped, taken to an isolated location and their memories wiped. A new goup is tasked with a trial to get through each time. For each trial one person in the group gets their memory back and the plot unwinds how they deal with that trial and the implications of what they have already done. The real fun is when they realise that the memories they have been given might not be theirs to start with…
No matter the story please no more magic insta-incest sperm or any other insta-incest magic for that matter. It’s extremely anti-climatic. Maaaaybe if it’s used as slowly as with the more stubborn of the moms in “There’s something in the water” but it still went “insta style” from there.

Use the premise from “The Stone in the Lake” but develop the character more, have their relationship evolve over time, not instantly. Maybe clitoris grows but otherwise normal female anatomy.
Most stories start with the son corrupting his family, which brought me in, but what about the mother falling first and corrupting that way? Or a father corrupting his wife then daughter?
My idea is to have the wife, who is board with her bedroom life, buys the stone and exposes her husband to it. As planned his cock and sex abilities greatly improve. But then something goes wrong, he losses interest in him wife and goes after his daughters. Meanwhile the son discovers the stone and as expected has big results. The mother/wife having gotten use to the stones charms falls for the son. Later the son and father competes for the girls with the son finally winning out.
Personally, from the two ideas you posted, I prefer the Palmer one.

While I would love to revisit some of the previous stories, you’ve ended Palmer fairly well. Between a Palmer Painting or a “Failed” Guide story I’d be more interested in the Guide.
An interesting thing I’ve noticed is that the world of TWT crosses over with Palmer, but includes the dark stone. I’ve also seen you stringing things together in some of the short stories and elsewhere, with the dark stone. It would be interesting if you continued expanding with this in the same way “Heavy Metal” did with the Loc-Nar Orb. It would also be great to see more multi-cultural takes – I loved that Palmer had different cultures – both time period and geographical.
That can’t work given the nature of the time travel. It would have to be an artificially monitored and imposed paradox. Maybe MC realizes after time traveling he’s only the father of his friends & GF instead. Makes it less convoluted, AND adds spicier incest with children in town.
That worked bcuz the story called for it. It happened before bcuz Fry would eventually HAVE TO go back and do it. Predestination upon one’s self is just mind-bogglingly impossible. But a present-tense temporal edit of a past-tense shenanigan can give some better possibilities bcuz it frees the protag of any further self-preservation hell loop mechanics.
Also how about a mother and daughter story. You’ve barely touch on that, I feel that would be a nice change of pace from the mother and son. Not that I don’t like it but that’s what I liked about the Elora’s taste of black Magic.

1-Emily and Lance return to the city, but the necklace goes with them without Emily knowing.

5-Lance and his wives are threatened by the visit of their aunts, the younger sisters of his father’s, while his father goes on tour for a few weeks. Sam and Emily frustrated by not having sex in several days inside the house with Lance, they decide to take the plunge and ask Lance to get rid of the annoyances or better yet … that Lance take his aunts for himself.
6-Lance, Emily and Sam visit the island again, on a private trip to find out a little more, for 3 days Lance, Emily and Sam continuously fuck while Lance get more changes from the curse, mother and daughter are pregnant, Lance finds the shadow treasure and with a blood pact is his. Now is the time to get rid of the obstacles, his father and Chrissy’s father must leave … Chrissy and Sam set a trap for Mitch, accuse him of attempted rape and force him to move to another city and leave them leaving 50% everything to them. Now they sell the house and with part of the treasure they move to a bigger house. Chrissy’s dad was not that difficult, Chrissy and her mother found him in bed with another woman, they get a divorce and 50% of things, but Chrissy, her mother and her sister are leaving home to live with her. Chrissy the Olmstead’s boyfriend’s family, by the way the woman in the bed was Lance’s youngest aunt …

The Enki’s Puzzle was such a fresh take in a saturated genre and I believe it was one of the reasons of it’s success, apart from your great writing of-course. You have enough of a following now that people will come up with the fan-theories and connected stories themselves and post it in your discord. But I understand if you’re looking to establish a connected universe of your works and build upon that. If I have to choose between your two ideas, I’d take the painting one.
I second this comment. I’ve enjoyed Enki’s Puzzle so much because of the slow burn and constant obstacles around the corner each time the MC thinks they’ve succeeded on making progress. So a failed Guide story would be good, in some ways, because it would involve that level of adversity and conflict, raising the stakes and significance of characters successfully getting together eventually. Mostly, I really enjoyed the incremental progress and the frequent setbacks and obstacles in Palmer and Enki; I still read Mothership and Something in the Water, etc., and they’re fun to read, but there’s a certain overwhelming inevitability to them, whereas Enki especially has felt like a wild ride where I’m always excited to see what happens next, and the focusing in on a few characters over so much of the story so far has made for the detail and nuance of those relationships to be much stronger and more intuitive than in the big ensemble stories.
I’ll also echo the other folks who are pulling for more lesbian relationships, and I think only one person mentioned it, but a young woman growing a penis (or born with one, she could be trans) and corrupting women close to her sounds awesome.

I gonna hazard a guess and say that this space has a majority of mother/son sub-genre fans. Brother/Sister and Mother/daughter gets traction as well. But the rest, especially the father/daughter or any kind of the older man/Younger woman incest is not most people’s bag around here.

Not too old. When the guy is too old, like 20+ years, then it gets creepy.
Too old is too much, while some years older to play on a brother complex is just right.

Use the premise from “The Stone in the Lake” but develop the character more, have their relationship evolve over time, not instantly. Maybe clitoris grows but otherwise normal female anatomy.
Most stories start with the son corrupting his family, which brought me in, but what about the mother falling first and corrupting that way? Or a father corrupting his wife then daughter?
My idea is to have the wife, who is board with her bedroom life, buys the stone and exposes her husband to it. As planned his cock and sex abilities greatly improve. But then something goes wrong, he losses interest in him wife and goes after his daughters. Meanwhile the son discovers the stone and as expected has big results. The mother/wife having gotten use to the stones charms falls for the son. Later the son and father competes for the girls with the son finally winning out.
Personally, from the two ideas you posted, I prefer the Palmer one.
My idea is a boot camp for unruly teens (legal age, of course).
They’re on lockdown because of some outbreak out in the real world.
You follow their stories as they succumb to a “mystery” illness that makes them all horny.
This is after one of them finds a strange looking gem while digging in the vegetable patch.
While I would love to revisit some of the previous stories, you’ve ended Palmer fairly well. Between a Palmer Painting or a “Failed” Guide story I’d be more interested in the Guide.
An interesting thing I’ve noticed is that the world of TWT crosses over with Palmer, but includes the dark stone. I’ve also seen you stringing things together in some of the short stories and elsewhere, with the dark stone. It would be interesting if you continued expanding with this in the same way “Heavy Metal” did with the Loc-Nar Orb. It would also be great to see more multi-cultural takes – I loved that Palmer had different cultures – both time period and geographical.
Guy learns he might be his own father, and the father of a lot of his friends and girlfriend, after a Back to the Future-style time travel story.
That can’t work given the nature of the time travel. It would have to be an artificially monitored and imposed paradox. Maybe MC realizes after time traveling he’s only the father of his friends & GF instead. Makes it less convoluted, AND adds spicier incest with children in town.
It worked for Futurama.
If it’s a closed time loop. It works. Predestination is another example of this type of time travel conception.
That worked bcuz the story called for it. It happened before bcuz Fry would eventually HAVE TO go back and do it. Predestination upon one’s self is just mind-bogglingly impossible. But a present-tense temporal edit of a past-tense shenanigan can give some better possibilities bcuz it frees the protag of any further self-preservation hell loop mechanics.
Maybe so, but this is all fantasy anyways so we can do what we want.
Also how about a mother and daughter story. You’ve barely touch on that, I feel that would be a nice change of pace from the mother and son. Not that I don’t like it but that’s what I liked about the Elora’s taste of black Magic.
You could continue the curse of the shadow, for example here some ideas:
1-Emily and Lance return to the city, but the necklace goes with them without Emily knowing.
2-Chrissy discovers the changes in Lance and she loves them, Emily falls slowly while her son takes her girlfriend in her own house, she struggles with memories of the island and sexual dissatisfaction with her husband … will soon surrender to Lance completely.
3-Lance, Emily and Chrissy share more every time, Emily betrays her daughter Sam, Emily plans a weekend without a dad, Emily enjoys seeing Sam fall before her son … while Chrissy discovers that her mother suspects something about Lance and her family, Chrissy plans to hand over her mother to her boyfriend and then her perfect older sister.
4-Lance, Sam and Emily visit Chrissy’s house, Chrissy’s mother is a victim of Lance and his family, while Chrissy takes her sister shopping, while in her mind she thinks how her mother gives herself to her boyfriend and his family as well as the way she and her mother delivered her sister to Lance at the next visit to the Olmstead house.
5-Lance and his wives are threatened by the visit of their aunts, the younger sisters of his father’s, while his father goes on tour for a few weeks. Sam and Emily frustrated by not having sex in several days inside the house with Lance, they decide to take the plunge and ask Lance to get rid of the annoyances or better yet … that Lance take his aunts for himself.
6-Lance, Emily and Sam visit the island again, on a private trip to find out a little more, for 3 days Lance, Emily and Sam continuously fuck while Lance get more changes from the curse, mother and daughter are pregnant, Lance finds the shadow treasure and with a blood pact is his. Now is the time to get rid of the obstacles, his father and Chrissy’s father must leave … Chrissy and Sam set a trap for Mitch, accuse him of attempted rape and force him to move to another city and leave them leaving 50% everything to them. Now they sell the house and with part of the treasure they move to a bigger house. Chrissy’s dad was not that difficult, Chrissy and her mother found him in bed with another woman, they get a divorce and 50% of things, but Chrissy, her mother and her sister are leaving home to live with her. Chrissy the Olmstead’s boyfriend’s family, by the way the woman in the bed was Lance’s youngest aunt …
7-Lance and his women are fine, but the last danger is coming, Emily’s father passed away, Lance and his family go to his funeral, Chrissy and the other women take care of the children, Lance and Sam discover why their mother did not visit her father, being an only child, her father married a very young woman after her mother died, that woman was only 12 years older than her son, Emily’s mother died when Lance was 6 and Emily’s father married again 1 year later with this woman … Now the testament and last will of his father asked that Emily and his family take care of his wife and her mother who was almost the same age as Emily in order to receive part of the inheritance, Emily upset and outraged for so many years now she knew what she had to do … She would welcome these women into her home (Lance’s home of course), but she didn’t want the inheritance … no … she wanted to see these 2 bitches riding her son, being humiliated and begging her to let her son impregnate them, she wanted to see them humiliated and enslaved before her and her son … she wanted revenge for all these years … and if in the process she could have 2 personal slaves for her it would be a lot of fun … plus Lance and Sam seemed to think equal …

I would love to see Next-gen continuations of previous novels: Palmer Mansion, The Dark Stone, Serum 42XXL, There’s Something in the Water. I’d love to see how things play out 20 years later in each of those stories.

In an isolated village there’s a peculiar ritual every summer where one young man every generation is ‘sacrificed’ to a local god. This young man undergoes ‘purification’ rituals on a regular basis. Only women are allowed to attend him during purification. It’s isn’t taken seriously- nobody actually dies, it’s all just playacting. In reality, the boy is being taken to a site where his balls are drained by the women of the village. A family from out of town moves in and the young man is selected, with the women of his family sworn to secrecy.
A pair of sisters and their daughters accidentally join a lesbian cult together, and the whole family is slowly corrupted. Only one of the daughters can tell something is wrong.

I’d prefer if the new story is a fresh idea and not a continuation/spin-offs of your existing works. The Enki’s Puzzle was such a fresh take in a saturated genre and I believe it was one of the reasons of it’s success, apart from your great writing of-course. You have enough of a following now that people will come up with the fan-theories and connected stories themselves and post it in your discord. But I understand if you’re looking to establish a connected universe of your works and build upon that. If I have to choose between your two ideas, I’d take the painting one.
I second this comment. I’ve enjoyed Enki’s Puzzle so much because of the slow burn and constant obstacles around the corner each time the MC thinks they’ve succeeded on making progress. So a failed Guide story would be good, in some ways, because it would involve that level of adversity and conflict, raising the stakes and significance of characters successfully getting together eventually. Mostly, I really enjoyed the incremental progress and the frequent setbacks and obstacles in Palmer and Enki; I still read Mothership and Something in the Water, etc., and they’re fun to read, but there’s a certain overwhelming inevitability to them, whereas Enki especially has felt like a wild ride where I’m always excited to see what happens next, and the focusing in on a few characters over so much of the story so far has made for the detail and nuance of those relationships to be much stronger and more intuitive than in the big ensemble stories.
I’ll also echo the other folks who are pulling for more lesbian relationships, and I think only one person mentioned it, but a young woman growing a penis (or born with one, she could be trans) and corrupting women close to her sounds awesome.

I like the idea of the Cursed Painting you have. You can have it so that each family member has a different “reaction” to it and hijacks ensue.
